Oxted School, Surrey, New Sixth Form Teaching Facility
New build construction of two storey classroom block for specialist teaching purposes within an existing secondary school site. Services included mixed mode natural ventilation and a ground source heat pump to ensure the building achieved a very low energy rating. The facility and services were awarded a commendation by the local Building Control awards committee.
St Peters School, Devizes
This new low energy primary school incorporates cutting edge architectural and M&E collaboration. Low carbon gas absorption heat pumps, natural ventilation and passive design features reduce the overall energy footprint of the development, surpassing building regulation requirements in excess of 30%. The school has been designed to be expanded in future phases as the local population grows, by the careful selection of scalable plant and services.
